2. Visiting our website

When you visit our website and use our digital forms, technically necessary data such as your IP address, the time of your visit, the page you accessed, and browser information are processed. We use this data to provide our services and ensure their security (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Hosting service providers assist us in this process. Technical logs are deleted as soon as they are no longer needed for operational and security purposes.

3. Contact Information, Appointments, and Questionnaires

If you contact us via email, phone, WhatsApp, or the contact form, or if you book an appointment through Cal.com, we will process your information to handle your inquiry and organize the appointment or consultation. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR, insofar as it concerns the initiation or conduct of a consultation. For other inquiries, processing is based on our legitimate interest in providing an appropriate response in accordance with Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR.

When you use WhatsApp or Cal.com, the respective providers receive the data necessary to provide the service.

Our digital questionnaires are used to prepare for and conduct startup consulting. Data processing is based on Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR. The information requested in the customer data form is necessary for processing and preparing the consultation. Without complete information, the form cannot be submitted and the consultation cannot be properly prepared.

If you provide the work contact information for your designated contact person at the Employment Agency or the Job Center, we will process this information to assign and manage your counseling case. The legal basis for this is our legitimate interest in the proper preparation and handling of the counseling session in accordance with Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR.

4. Cookies, Analytics, and External Content

Technically necessary storage and access enable the operation of the website. We activate additional services, as needed, only after you have given your consent via the “Real Cookie Banner.” There, you can view the services used and their retention periods and change your selection at any time. The legal basis for access requiring consent and the subsequent data processing is § 25(1) of the German Telemedia Act (TDDDG) and Art. 6(1)(a) of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR); you may revoke your consent at any time with future effect.

With your consent, Google Analytics and Google Ads may process usage and interaction data to measure the reach and effectiveness of our advertising; Microsoft Clarity may be used to analyze website usage. If you enable embedded content such as YouTube videos, Google Maps, or reviews via Trustindex, the respective providers will receive technically necessary information about your visit. Google reCAPTCHA may be used to protect forms. The scope and activation depend on the actual implementation and your selection in the consent banner. External links, such as those to LinkedIn or WhatsApp, lead to the respective providers.

5. Recipients and Data Transfer Outside the EU

Only authorized personnel and service providers for hosting, email, appointment scheduling, and the external services you have activated will have access to your data, to the extent necessary for the purposes described. Where necessary, we enter into contracts with data processors in accordance with Article 28 of the GDPR.

6. Retention Period and Your Rights

We delete personal data as soon as it is no longer needed for the respective purpose and there are no legal retention requirements or legitimate purposes for retaining it. You can find the expiration periods for cookies and similar technologies in the settings of the consent banner.

Under the GDPR, you have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, and data portability. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests under the conditions set forth by law. You may withdraw your consent at any time with future effect. To do so, please contact bruno@abindieselbststaendigkeit.de. You may also file a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, such as the Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information. Our forms do not involve any decisions based solely on automated processing that have legal or similarly significant effects.

We do not currently send out a newsletter. If we offer one in the future, we will provide separate information about its content and data processing during the sign-up process and obtain the necessary consent.
